Q7. If I have multiple branches in the same city can I work with one FSSAI Reg.?

No, you have to take separate registration for each premise and office but if you have separate units in the same premise then you can take single FSSAI Registration.

Q8. What is FSCS?

FSSAI launched FSCS (Food Safety Compliance System) on 1 June 2020, It is an online platform made for the purpose of integrating with other government platforms like GST, MCA, and PAN. It is made for providing for the needs of food safety regulations.

Q9. For how long FSSAI Reg. Valid?

It is valid from 1 year to 5 years. Depends on the number of years you choose as per your application.

Q10. What if I have business in multiple states how many Food licenses do I have to take?

For the central Office, you need Central FSSAI Reg. and for each branch, you need State FSSAI Registration.

Q11. If I have a food license for one business but my import and export code is for another business. Can I import with my other business Food License?

No, you need to have a food license for the premise which is mentioned in the Import-Export code.

Q12. What happens if did not renew my license?

A penalty of 100 INR per day will be charged for the delay in renewing of food license.

Q13. Are changes possible in Food License?

Yes, you have to apply for changes and modifications with applicable fees.
